Bisgaard was founded in Denmark in 2005 by Marianne and Henrik Bisgaard. From the studio on the harbor side in Aarhus, they design ready-to-go shoes with a unique expression of Danish creativity and simple shapes. Passionate about making children's and women's shoes - a careful blend of understated Danish design and evidence of highly skilled, handcrafted craftsmanship. They work with some of the finest craftsmen in the world, combining a Scandinavian mindset with global skills and shoemaking traditions. Natural and sustainable materials have been the core of the brand from the start. A conscious choice from day one.
